The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade brings thousands of people for a day of parade floats, green beer and dancing. DANBURY U p north is the unincorporated community of Danbury, but don’t let the word unincorporated turn you away. Danbury features a state-of-the-art casino with modern dining and lodging experiences, a favorite outdoor sports shop with a little bit of everything, a quaint little winery tucked away to the east, unique food stops and so much more. Their newly reorganized Chamber of Commerce hosts several events including the new Jordan Buck Day in September. GRANTSBURG J ust over the St. Croix River, minutes from the Wiscon- sin/Minnesota border lies the Village of Grantsburg. Featuring some of Burnett County’s favorite attractions, Grantsburg is home to Crex Meadows Wildlife Area, the Burnett Dairy Cooperative, Grantsburg Historical Muse- um and the county’s only brewery. To the south, you’ll find the Trade Lake region, home to the Fish Lake Wildlife area and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation.
